Introducing Lina Pigadioti through our New Artist Collaboration

Lina Pigadioti's work seeks to visualize the impact of time. She depicts images of fthora (wear and tear, decay, spoilage), recounts the feeling of spoilage that time leaves on matter. Meeting Lina through her art added a layer of poetry to Mont Kiji.

"When Junhee reached out to invite me to participate to the Artist Collaboration Project, it was a very particular period of my life. Living in Athens, Greece and experiencing the lockdown caused by the Covid 19 Pandemic, I had the luxury of time. Thus thinking … I had the opportunity to start an evaluation, an assessment of my life and the current impact of it on what I stand for. My path in life, my choices, my acts, my creations, my relations… everything passed in front of my eyes as a cinematography and generated a new Endoscopy, an exploration of my inner self."
